Varekamp Coldstores, the storage and handling service company of the Van Rijn Group, started 2011 with the good news that as from today the AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) status is approved. The certificate was awarded by mr. Olijerhoek, mr. Poulussen and mr. Schults, on behalf of Customs.

"There were intensive inspections conducted by Customs the last months where the supply chain of Varekamp Coldstores was fully inspected," said Dennis Voskamp and Marc Vermeulen, monitors of this project. Varekamp Coldstores met the strict requirements of Customs relating to solvency, security, administration, logistics and reputation. "We are proud of the fact that Varekamp Coldstores received the AEO certificate and can add it to her collection." Varekamp Coldstores is for its customers and Customs a reliable partner in all aspects, according to mr. Olijerhoek, on behalf of the management team Customs.

Due to the AEO's "Custom-Simplification & Security" less physical and administrative controls and faster administrative process are experienced by Varekamp Coldstores. In conjunction here to they are also more flexible with the scanning of containers.
Notice regarding inspections are issued take place and also controls are prioritized.  "The AEO certificate provides many benefits in international trade and is a major plus for our customers," says Marc and Dennis.

"The AEO certification is a perfect match to the BRC Storage & Distribution-, IFS- and the SKAL certificates which Varekamp Coldstores already secured", said Marc and Dennis. "Many aspects are now covered by our quality control systems so that our full service concept is also qualitatively guaranteed.
