History
Varekamp Coldstores was established in 1953 and started as a family business with the refrigerated storage of grapes, grown in the horticultural region of "Westland". Forty years after the company was founded, it merged with Van Rijn Group, which has been in business since 1855. In 2013 Varekamp Coldstores has taken over by the Kloosterboer Group. But since march 2019 the company is out of the Kloosterboer Group.

The suppliers' barcodes and pallet numbers enable us to track and trace your products at all times. Tracking and tracing is mandatory according to Article 18 of the European Union's General Food Law.
Each step in the order process is fully recorded. Every change is entered in our sophisticated Warehouse Management System. Reports are automatically generated and emailed to you, so that you always have the latest information. This makes our logistics operations fully transparent.

Agri Business Centre Westland
Varekamp Coldstores has been operating in the Agri Business Centre Westland in the Netherlands since 2001. This strategic location is within close proximity of the ports of Rotterdam (about 25 minutes) and Schiphol airport (about 45 minutes). All of the different disciplines that constitute our sector are concentrated at Agri Business Centre Westland: trading, packing, transporting, cold storage and cross-docking.
