Varekamp Coldstores was founded in 1953 in ‘s-Gravenzande as a family business for the refrigerated storage of grapes, grown in the Westland horticultural region. In 2001, Varekamp relocated to its current location at the Agri Business Centre Westland in Poeldijk. At the beginning of 2022, Varekamp Coldstores Holland B.V. (VCH) was acquired by Europe Retail Packing B.V. (ERP) from Nowee Fresh Logistics B.V., Willem Nowee, managing director for the last 20 years.
Europe Retail Packing (ERP) has been the leading packaging specialist for importers and exporters of fresh products for 20 years. ERP processes fruit and vegetables at five locations in the Netherlands, with more than 60 production lines, ripening cells and advanced sorting machines. Product specialists advise you on the best packaging solution for products, based on food kilometres. Europe Retail Packing specialises in packaging and sorting sweet potatoes, citrus fruits, blueberries, grapes, fresh herbs, fine vegetables, exotics and greenhouse vegetables.
As a combination - Varekamp Coldstores and Europe Retail Packing - we offer a full-service solution. You take care of the marketing, we do the logistics.
